  • Renewal Cycle: Biennial (even-numbered years)
  • Required Hours: 40, including 10 mandatory:
    • 1 hour ethics & NJ law
    • 3 hours CPR
    • 3 hours pharmacology & internal medicine
    • 3 hours infection control
    • 1 hour opioid prescriptions
  • Dentists graduating in the year of renewal have specific requirements.

Dental Hygienists:

  • Renewal Cycle: Biennial (odd-numbered years)
  • Required Hours: 30, including 2 mandatory:
    • 2 hours CPR
    • 2 hours abuse & neglect
