Dentists:
- Renewal Cycle: Biennial (even-numbered years)
- Required Hours: 40, including 10 mandatory:
- 1 hour ethics & NJ law
- 3 hours CPR
- 3 hours pharmacology & internal medicine
- 3 hours infection control
- 1 hour opioid prescriptions
- Dentists graduating in the year of renewal have specific requirements.
Dental Hygienists:
- Renewal Cycle: Biennial (odd-numbered years)
- Required Hours: 30, including 2 mandatory:
- 2 hours CPR
- 2 hours abuse & neglect
