Total hours required: 40 Continuing Education credits every two years

Mandatory Hours

  • Infection Control: Required yearly
  • CPR certification: Must be up to date
  • 8 hours on appropriate prescribing, pharmacology, dependence, and alternatives to opioids for pain management (once per career for dentists with a Schedule II DEA license)
