RDH in Alternative Practice Training at UOP

Enhance your career and broaden your expertise with the Registered Dental Hygienist in Alternative Practice (RDHAP) program at UOP. Led by Elena Francisco, RDHAP, MS, this online course is tailored for dental hygienists and professionals aiming to expand their skills in treating patients with complex needs and underserved communities. Approved by the Dental Hygiene Board of California, this program fulfills the 150-hour education requirement necessary for applying for an RDHAP license.

The program features two live interactive webinar sessions via Zoom, which count towards in-person instructional hours as per the Dental Board of California. Additional details will be emailed upon registration completion. The registration deadline is August 2, 2024, at 5:00 PM.

Program Overview:
Designed to reach professionals in both rural and urban areas, this virtual program includes online lectures, quizzes, case reports, and a field study. Successful completion requires attending the live webinars on the first and last days, and completing all online modules and assignments. Upon completion, participants' attendance and course completion will be reported to the DHBC.
