Mission and Purpose
Mission: The Butte-Sierra District Dental Society’s mission is to be the recognized source for serving the needs of the local dental community and promoting dentistry for the benefit of public health.
BSDDS is a professional association affiliated with the California Dental Association (CDA) and American Dental Association (ADA).
HIPAA-compliant digital intake forms. Works with 150+ dental PMS platforms. No contracts.
Geographic Coverage
BSDDS serves dentists and the public in six Northern California counties:
- Butte
- Colusa
- Nevada
- Sierra
- Sutter
- Yuba
Membership
Eligibility: Dentists practicing in any of the six counties listed above are eligible for BSDDS membership, which includes automatic membership in the CDA and ADA through the tripartite system.

Programs and Services
1. Continuing Education (CE)
BSDDS offers regular CE classes and events to help members fulfill licensure requirements and remain current in dental advancements.

- Northern Valley Indian Health
- And others serving Medi-Cal and uninsured patients
