Mission and Purpose

The Monterey Bay Dental Society (MBDS) is a nonprofit professional association uniting ethical dental practitioners to promote public health and the science of dentistry. MBDS strives to be the trusted hub for dental resources, events, and collaboration in the region.

Geographic Scope

Counties Served: Monterey, Santa Cruz, and San Benito counties.

Affiliations: MBDS is a component of both the California Dental Association (CDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA), providing multi-level support to its members.

Membership and Governance

Eligibility: Open to ethical dental professionals in the tri-county region. MBDS also welcomes students and allied dental team members.

Governance: The organization is managed by a Board of Directors. Members have access to the membership directory and organizational bylaws.
