Mission and Vision
Mission: To encourage the improvement of public health, unite ethical dental practitioners, promote dentistry, and advocate for both members and the community.
Vision: NCDS aims to strengthen membership value through enhanced benefits, social networking, community connection, and new member support.
Region and History
Service Area: Butte, Glenn, Tehama, Shasta, Trinity, Siskiyou, Modoc, Lassen, and Plumas counties.
History: NCDS has served Northern California since the 1920s, evolving through several reorganizations. Notably, the Butte-Sierra District Dental Society branched off in the late 1950s, refining the current boundaries of NCDS.

Tripartite Membership: NCDS membership includes enrollment in the California Dental Association (CDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA), ensuring multi-level support and resources.
