Founded in 1919, the Santa Barbara-Ventura County Dental Society (SBVCDS) is a nonprofit 501(c)(6) professional organization representing nearly 800 dentists—over 75% of practicing dentists in Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties. SBVCDS is a local component of the California Dental Association (CDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA).
Mission: To advance the dental profession through unity and support, empowering members to grow, excel, and thrive. SBVCDS is dedicated to supporting its members and the communities they serve while advancing the art and science of dentistry.
Public Service: SBVCDS focuses on connecting residents with caring dentists and supporting overall community oral health.
