Overview and Mission
The Tulare-Kings Dental Society (TKDS) is a nonprofit professional association representing dentists in Tulare and Kings counties, California. As a local component of the California Dental Association (CDA) and the American Dental Association (ADA), TKDS supports its members through advocacy, education, and community engagement.
Mission: To foster professional growth, uphold ethical dental practice, and serve the local community through continuing education, networking, and outreach.

Continuing Education Programs
TKDS offers in-person CE courses every Friday and Saturday throughout the year (6 CE units per course, except CPR). All active members receive 6 CE passes per year (excluding CPR), which can be shared with staff upon approval.
CE Course Details:
- Location: Visalia Wyndham, 9000 W. Airport Dr, Visalia, CA 93277
- Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Registration: Opens 30 days before each course, fees paid at the door
- No refunds or annual rollover of unused passes
CPR Courses
- Offered four times per year at the TKDS office
- Max 12 participants per class
- Facilitated by American Ambulance instructors
- TKDS does not issue CPR cards or CE credit for CPR
Study Clubs
Provider-only format held on the third Tuesday evening of each month, beginning March 2025.
Specialized CE Events
- CDPA/ICN/OSHA Compliance Courses: Scheduled for May and October 2025
